Let's focus on the finer points of your musical education - sight reading, ear training, note naming, and rhythm skills. At the end of the month, come and show off your abilities at our annual Musicianship Skills event!
An annual favourite for our MUSiK SHOP students!
Saturday, May 30th from 2:00 - 3:00pm
This fun event focuses on the music reading and listening skills you will have developed at your lessons. A pass card will allow you to visit various stations where you'll explore each skill. As always, we will conclude with some yummy snacks! This event is for students of all ages and studies.
Please let us know if you are coming. Log in, and go to May 30th on the calendar. Choose the event, click 'view' to open and then 'click here' to register.

Registration for the 2015/16 season is almost ready to go!
Registration packages will be handed to students over the next few weeks. Enclosed you will find your teacher's recommendations for the fall.

Get ready to see a new face at the front desk!
Caitlin has accepted a full time office job working at one of the province's largest independent schools, and has stepped down from her position as Administrative Assistant. She's still taking piano lessons though, so we'll see her around!
In her place our piano and violin teacher, Madeline Young, has kindly and excitedly taken the up torch from Caitlin's capable hands! Madeline will be taking care of all of your questions, suggestions, and payments. Please direct all comments, and concerns to firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com. Welcome to the MUSiK SHOP community, Madeline!
It's time to start thinking about summer music lessons!
We're so proud of what each student accomplishes during the school year, and we would hate to see skills regress. We offer summer lessons that are more relaxed than our regular fall lessons, but continue to maintain and develop your child's musical skills. We have found that students often make their best progress during July and August!
Summer lessons are extremely flexible, and we highly recommend this option for students of all ages and stages. Just let your teacher know that you wish to continue and to work out the mutually agreeable details.
